Founded in 2014, we started as a multi-roaster coffee shop with a focus on serving high-quality coffee. We firmly believe that everyone should have access to exceptional coffee. No cutting corners—just expertly sourced, carefully roasted beans so you can thoroughly enjoy each cup.

In 2020, we took a major step forward by sourcing our own coffee, allowing us to have greater control over quality and selection. At first, we partnered with a trusted roaster to bring our vision to life. We selected coffees that would appeal to both the coffee enthusiast and the everyday drinker—coffees that are round and accessible without being boring. This remains our guiding principle today.

In mid-2024, we took another exciting step forward: we installed our own in-house coffee roaster. Fully electric and emissions-free, it allows us to roast with precision while minimizing our environmental impact. Our energy supply comes entirely from wind and solar power, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.

At the roastery, we follow a strict buying calendar in sync with the harvest cycles of our growing partners and estates, ensuring that each coffee tells a story—one that engages the senses and sparks the imagination. Zwipf coffees stand out in blind tastings, helping to bring the hard work of our producers into the spotlight. At the end of the day, the stories we are telling are really theirs.

In truth, we are a small, simple company. We remain proudly independent and local, with an unwavering commitment to both quality and service.
