El Puente is a coffee processing facility located in Palestina, Huila, Colombia. The name means “the bridge”, symbolizing the connection between local smallholder farmers and the global specialty coffee community.
The project was founded by Clearpath Coffee in 2018 and focuses on sustainable rural development and fair market access for producers. El Puente specializes in Honey and Natural processing, using up to 80% less water compared to traditional washed methods.
This lot was Naturally processed and dried slowly in shaded parabolic dryers, allowing for controlled fermentation and enhanced sweetness and complexity.
