Finca La Cristalina is located in Chinchiná, Colombia, at 1460–1790 m.a.s.l. and is part of the Valdes family’s Café Cuatro Generaciones project. The farm combines modern coffee production with a strong commitment to environmental protection and biodiversity.
La Cristalina operates an ecological mill where coffee pulp is composted and reused as organic fertilizer. The farm is shaded by a diverse mix of trees that support local wildlife, including endangered black cedar grown in the farm’s own nursery.
This Bourbon lot was harvested at high ripeness and Naturally processed. Whole cherries were fermented for 24 hours and then slowly dried at controlled temperatures for up to 60 days, resulting in a sweet, clean, and well-structured cup.
