Arbegona - Ethiopia

Whole Bean Coffee – Roasted for Filter

Sidama Arbegona comes from the highlands of southern Ethiopia, one of the country's most renowned specialty coffee-growing regions. Cultivated at an impressive altitude of 2,224 meters, this coffee is produced by smallholder farmers who grow their coffee on small family plots, often alongside food crops and beneath traditional shade trees.

The region's cool mountain climate and consistent rainfall allow coffee cherries to ripen slowly, developing exceptional density and complexity.

After harvesting, the cherries are delivered to one of Tracon Coffee's washing stations, where they undergo careful washed processing. Following pulping, the coffee is fermented in fresh spring water for 24–48 hours, thoroughly washed, and slowly dried on raised African beds for approximately two weeks.

This meticulous process brings out the coffee's natural clarity and vibrant character, resulting in a clean, elegant cup with pronounced acidity and a delicate, complex flavor profile.
